Amazing MuayThai Festival 2023 for Guinness World Records!

The Royal Thai Army, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Ministry of Culture, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, together with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization), led by General Narongphan Jitkaewtae, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, Mr. Apichai Chatchalermkit, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr. Palat Suwanmethakorn, Director of Boxing Committee, the Sports Authority of Thailand, Maj. Adisak Noysuwan, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, the representative of Ministry of Culture, and Mr. Puripan Bunnag, Senior Vice President of TCEB, announced during the recent press conference at the Kittikachorn auditorium at the Royal Thai Army Headquarters that they will be joining hands in organising the “Amazing MuayThai Festival 2023”. It is a collaboration to endorse cultural tourism through Muay Thai and attract both international and domestic travellers to join in the festival.

This festival is to promote and preserve Muay Thai as the valuable cultural heritage of the nation and most importantly, to be recorded in the Guinness World Records as the biggest Wai Kru Muay Thai and Mae Mai Muay Thai performances with 5,000 participants at Rajabhakti Park in Hua Hin on 6 February 2023. The festival will feature many activities during 4-6 February 2023, which will take place in 3 locations: 1. Rajabhakti Park 2. Suan Son Pradipat and 3. Hua Hin District Area. Some of the activities are Wai Kru Muay Thai and Mae Mai Muay Thai performances, worshipping ceremony of King Suea and the 7 Kings, a booth for learning about Muay Thai history and industry, Muay Thai competition, personnel training sessions, practicing Muay Thai on the beach with the famous boxers.
